How is it possible to compete with the giants in fish feed production like Ewos, BioMar or Skretting , other than by abandoning the principle of volume, and developing tailor-made solutions. This is the option chosen by Le Gouessant Aquaculture who produce 25 000 to 30 000 tonnes of fish feed per year. This subsidiary of the co-operative that shares the same name is present in France and also exports to the sectors that have certification (label Rouge, organic) manufacturing for the principal species at the different growth stages. With specialist formulations that are suitable for sea bream during the winter, or trout during the summer, periods when these fish have more difficulty in digesting.
